My 1980 Pinto Station Wagon
« on: January 21, 2004, 07:35:42 PM »
Greetings Ford Lovers,

I am happy to tell you about my 1980 Ford Pinto Station Wagon I bought today. It is Dark Chamois with a Caramel cloth and vinyl interior and 4-speed. The only option is has is a luggage rack. It has 32,000 miles and spent its whole life in eastern South Dakota. I will be bringing it to my home in upstate New York in the spring.

Best Wishes

Hello

I don't know the name of the town, but the people who owned it lived in Hansen County just east of Mitchell. It was sold new by Rozum's in Mitchell. Dick Rozum who is the dealer principle (and who was the salesman in 1980) called me as soon as it came in. I bought it over the phone. It is all stock, all original, all Pinto, and most importantly, all Ford.

What town are you in?  I visited SD last year (see www.lovefords. org for the SD visit pictures). I drove from Sioux Falls to Mitchell, and visited many of the small towns west of Mitchell.

John
