Look what followed me home today...
« on: March 07, 2016, 10:06:06 PM »
It's a 75 no motor or trans, but has a posi 7.5 or 8.8 rear end. A lot of other cool bits as well(uncracked black dash!).

What the hell, it was free!

I almost went to look at it but I have too many projects at the moment.  Nice score, especially for the dash pad 8)

uncracked dash pad, do these exist?
No motor or trans I can understand, as the floor seems to have been adapted for Flintstone drive...
Even so, nice find!

"Look what followed me home today..."

Next time take a different route and drive a catalytic converter car - to throw the scent off.  ;D   Actually looks rather fixable.  And if this one goes turbo the initial engine fit will be easier too.

So it turns out to be the one I was checking out last winter, in a town about 60 miles from here. And as it turns out, it was pretty much nothing it was advertised to be. It wasn't a 74, it didn't have an essy head, it doesn't have an 8" rear end(turns out to be an open 7.5 quad shock), and it has plenty of rust damage and, I estimate about 5lbs. of bondo under that rattle can paint. A lot of lipstick for one pig. but still some cool parts though.

So, there's not much left, but if anyone wants the rest of it, with title, it's free again. It's not a roller, but most of the body is there, and the front end is all there too.
