Webmaster posted from email sent, please respond to owner's email below,

Nobody loves pinto's more than me .  Ever since I could reach the pedals, I was driving it.  We have owned it since new !  It has a 289 ci in it, c4 transmission, a 9 inch ford rear end with 3:88 gears in it as well.  When I die , I will be buried in the car along with my trophies and AC/DC highway to hell in the cassette player.

8)I did some of the work myself , with a little help from some elbow grease, a shoe horn, and a few cases of beers. The transmision mount is the original we just put it in backwards. As for the headders that was the hard part. There is not much room in the engine compartment, so the battery is in the trunk and the washerfluid jug is under the fender.I had to put a special fan and rad so i had to take out the hood lock.
I have also had a 4 cylinder and a v6 in it. the v6 was a piece of cake compared to the v8 installation wise.Send a pic of your car here I would like to see it. there are more pictures of my engine on this sight, they should be on here soon.

Wow, yours is one of the nicest pintos I've seen. Very clean and done tastefully. I've recently picked up a 72 sedan and can only hope it turns out as well as yours. It sounds like it runs just as good as it looks. Great Job!!!
Look alive SON, You're about to get your butt kicked!
