From what I can tell its powered by a 74 2.3 and uses many chassis components. In the process of performance and dress up of engine. I have learned and continue to learn A LOT from you guys!
  Thank you

At least with 4 cylinder kit cars only the VW engine seems to exceed the Pinto engine in application.  Please tell us more about the car.  I've never seen this one before.  Oh, and welcome to Pinto's (incognito).

Thanks! I'm still figuring it out myself. Got it last summer, was sitting in a garage for the last 11yrs. Its an Eagle Coach Work Jag XK120G. Didn't take much to get it running and drivable. A new rag joint, gas, filter and oil change! However it has coughed up a hairball a couple times, sputtering and stalling but starts up again gets itself back home.

It looks really clean.  Now, I'm not much myself for whitewall tires and spoked wheels.  But a set of period correct alloys, British racing green paint and a 5 speed... Oh wait, it's not my car..., I was only dreaming.

Hey, enjoy.  I'm a Turbo/Injected guy here, but I'm thinking there are a lot of people with carburetor background that can help with driveability.

If still using points going to electronic ignition will help issues.
