Don't Kick My Pinto!!!
« on: January 07, 2012, 08:25:00 PM »
Now I'm not writing this to brag or say what a brave person I am... in fact I'm not exactly proud of my Scotch-Irish temper, but when someone pokes Mama Bear or messes with her cub, WATCH OUT!!!

This morning some schmuck decided to run a stop in front of me and look at me as if I was the problem when I honked at him. For that he earned the bird, which prompted him to put his car in park (while still parked in front of me) and walked towards me yelling at me. I asked him if he could read the "stop" sign he just ran and he turned around and kicked Ruby in the bumper. That was it. She was put into park mode and I went to kick HIS car's bumper and he decided to get into a shoving match and to make a long story short police were called and no one was arrested. The moral of the story is you can flip me a bird, call me nasty names (he did) and laugh in my face when my car stalls in gear because of your bone-headed actions and attitude, but you kick my car and you have a fight on your hands.

BTW, this was in a Wal-Mart parking lot a mile away from my house, so don't be surprised if you see me and a middle-aged a-hole in a shoving match on People Of Wal-Mart. Sigh...  :P

LOL Matt! Apparently Stupid got a ripped shirt and a scratch (I didn't realize I scratched him til one of the officers told me) and he only bruised my pride (because he set me off). The last thing I wanted was trouble. If he had only obeyed the stop sign... >:(

Donna says she understands the mother bear thing, and is glad you are ok, ( me too). What an a**.In general I found most all Califorina drivers to be very courtious, there are always exceptions to the rule though.Sorry you happened upon one.

Yeah... me too. Thank you to you both. The funny thing is, Saturday mornings aren't usually stress-times, so I don't know what his problem was (besides me) but he didn't want to hear about the stop he ran even from the police. I guess he makes a habit of running them and doesn't get why I had a problem with it when I had right-of-way.  His mistake was doing that to me before I've had my Starbucks.  :o

I understand your reasons, but you never know who you're dealing with... Stupid could have had a gun!  Glad you are safe.  That's all that matters in the end.

Since when does a stop sign mean you have to stop?  I do belieive most people think that is the new yield sign!
