Finally won something
« on: June 20, 2012, 12:06:06 AM »
I'd like to share that after 10 years of owning and working on my Pinto, I finally won a top 20 award at our local car show. this pic is from last year but I was pretty much in the exact same spot.

Judging from the photo of your car, I'd say it was a well deserved award!  Congratulatons!!!

Thanks.

The pop outs are more like fall outs right now. Without the OEM plastic retainers being available anywhere, I had to get a little creative with a pop rivot and a little bit of silicone to keep them in. I still won't drive with them out. As for the award, I wish they would have stated that on the actual plaque. Instead it advertises the car show, like a dash plaque would, and you just have to take my word for it. I'm still good with it.
