I know car was purchased at the original owners Dealer in Allegan Michigan BAEHRE FORD . That Dealer went out of business's in late 1979, and no Ford Dealer has been at that Site since. So this must of been one of the last cars Sold there. The car is in over all Extra nice all original shape, down to the tires still on it. Tomorrow at work it gets its oil and all fluids changed. Will probably have a half a dozen Techs all over it checking it out ,should be a Fun day. Looks like I will be buying Pizza and Beer for the Guys this week..... ;D

Few more pictures I will keep all updated....Kir k

It was exciting at Work Today. I had the Rallye in this building till today, moved it back over to the main lot. What you see is our Detail Used Car building engulfed in Flames. They were adding a second level on one side when the beams ignited in are ambulance Repair Shop side.  Lots of fluids 0/2 Tanks Acetylene Etc. Blowing up! Happy I moved the car back that nite.

Yes no one hurt, it ignited very quickly..4 fire extinguishers could not put it out. Everyone had to run out happened within 2Min.

That's good to hear.. I work in the Oil and Gas industry and fire is nothing to mess with. If you have a safety meeting.. inform the guys, if the first fire extinguisher doesn't do it. Let it burn.. Enough of that. So did everything check out well with all the techs looking over the Rallye?

That's what they did, within 30seconds and just ran... Yes Rallye is a cream puff. Fluids all changed, probably going to replace a some belts and Hoses due to age. ..still original belts ,hoses. Next step is the Polishing and cleaning complete head to toe. This is really going to make Pinto  to Show in its Original State... :)

Glad to hear everyone is okay, and that you moved the rally before it all happened!

That sure is a beautiful car, I would LOVE to see it in person some day! My wife and I are just drooling over the pictures! We need some high resolution shots of this baby! :D

I'm glad to hear that no one was hurt fighting the fire. But when you said our techs are going to work on the Ralley  I was like and where are they going to put in the engine test computer etc...To bad we had to get rid of Halyon, that fire would have been out.....In one pass not two fire bottles...

Wow that fire is insane! I'm also glad to hear that nobody got hurt from it. That car looks really sharp. Glad nothing happened to it. You getting new tires for the car yet? Prolly be a good thing to do before doing any serious driving on the car. That would zoop to have one of them blow out & take a quarter panel with it, or worse.
