1980 Ford Pinto Squire Wagon  * All original 1 Owner *

1980 "Barn Find" Pinto with 109K original miles and all documentation & service receipts.
This Pinto was originally purchased at Tousley Ford in White Bear Lake Minnesota by a 54 year old lady. (original sales contract comes with the car). Soon after they moved to Deer Park Washington where the car has been ever since. I bought the car in 2018, it had been in a garage and not regularly driven since 2005. The current mileage on the odometer is 109,300. This pinto has a couple of unique aftermarket options, one being Sears Autocruise electronic speed control. The other is a Pylon windshield wiper delay control. After buying the car I had it transported to my mechanic and have spent about $1500 on getting the car in roadworthy condition again. The mechanical work performed included removing, draining and cleaning the gas tank, rebuilding the carburetor, replacing most fuel lines, belts and hoses, replacing fuel pump and filter, new battery, replace timing belt, replace cylinder head, head gasket & valves, new oil sender unit, thermostat, radiator service, new coolant and two oil changes. The Pinto now runs and drives well although I have noticed the steering has a bit of play and still needs to be looked at. The vehicle is currently registered and insured and has Washington State collector licence plates. This Pinto is in fantastic original condition, like a time capsule, interior is in excellent condition with no real signs of excessive wear or damage, carpets are in great condition but could use a steam cleaning. Dash and all glass is perfect, seals seem very good, tires have about 80-90% tread with no visible signs of cracking but they are old. There is no body rust or rot on the car that I could see. The fenders and lower body panels are completely solid with a few rock chips, bit of road tar spots and occasional superficial rust on rock chip or spot of paint damage (see photos). The car also comes with all original dealer paperwork from when purchased new including contract, warranty, rust preventative treatment paperwork from when newly purchased and even the original window sticker which itemizes the option the car came with, motor and transmission specs, fuel economy and factory sticker price of $5893.
