Title: Weber conversion jet sizes...
Post by: jeremysdad on October 30, 2013, 02:15:07 PM
Starting a new thread, for web crawlers:

See here for original thread: http://www.fordpinto.com/pinto-faq/5200-to-webber-conversion/

Played around today. Settings, as of today:

Idle jets: .55 primary, .55 secondary ('square')
Mains: Still .140, .145

Still with the double-shot accelerator pump nozzle.

Still running the stock Weber air bleeds.

Bumped timing appx 4 degree to 13 BTDC, leaned choke 1/8".

Closest yet to 'stomp-n-go', and man...does it go when you stomp it, and sounds meaner than a pregnant rattlesnake!!!!

Still in need of a 2.0 flexplate, if anyone has one (getting tired of having to bump the motor via the fan when the starter screeches at me).
