IF..., money is an object try Lowes/Home Depot etc. for black indoor/outdoor carpet.  I use it in ALL my cars. It is a dollar something a sq. ft..  I just lay it out on the floor and being a TV production guy use sandbags to weigh the carpet to contour (you could just fill plastic bags with sand).  I then cut the carpet to whatever it seems to need. If the carpet bunches up and needs to be cut I generally fold 180 degrees so the extra forms a ridge, then I cut the center of the ridge so the pieces overlap. Otherwise if you cut it near an edge it can easily show a gap.

WARNING Will Robinson, Warning!!! If you cut your own carpet to fit be aware that the Pinto sill plates are very thin.  Make sure the extra goes well outside the door.  I had pulled my plates a long time prior and envisioned them like a normal plate that normally drops 90 degrees over the internal edge. Thus I cut the carpet about an inch short!  I had to resort to using galvanized roof edging to extend the metal sill and cover the too short cut point. It looks OK, but to me it still screams STUPID!

I used a kit from a on line company called "Stockinteriors .com " on both of my pintos , one was just simple black was fine and looked good because the inside was Black, the Sedan was odd , odered Black but it did not look right so I got their color sample kit and got one that matched perfect , ordered the extra insulation also so I would have a quiet car and it is ,the fit was great too, molded to fit the car , best to do it on a hot day after you unbox the carpit and let it set in the sun for a day or or so the folds will go away ,

Finally got it .... I ordered it from OC Auto Carpets(855-622-8862. It fits and is formed to all contours near perfect.
Just as a little hint to anyone interested in ordering there carpet.... Remove the installation jute from the top of the center hump from the front of the emergency brake handle base to the back seat. Its Way to thick. I added my own heat sheilded sound deadening in that area. The color was exact ( 850 chamios) and the price was very reasonable at 119 plus shipping = 149.00 to the door.
Thanks to everyone who responded and hope this help someone
Wish I could post pics but jusy wont let me

Did the price include the wagon cargo area as well? The carpet in my wagon cargo area disintegrated many years ago from exposure to the Florida sun. Also, what did you use for the heat shield over the middle hump? Were the sections for the emergency brake and transmission pre-cut? Thanks for posting that you are satisfied with your purchase and the installation tips as this is on my list of things to do. Arlette

No holes where precut and nocompany that I contacted offers that. I searched alot. Also no company offers preformed or cut for the cargo area. But OC offers there carpet by the yard. I havent ordered it yet but its on my to do list. As for heat and sound deadening for top of the hump I used peel n seal frm lowesin the roofing isle and topped that  with duct installation also from lowes. Home depot also carries the same. Works great and made a noticeable difference in the pavment noise and the heat.
Very satisfied

Thanks for the additional installation information. Last week I bought 1/4" thick rubber matting from Tractor Supply for the cargo area. It does keep things from sliding around and helps with sound deadening. I figure that I can always lay carpet over it for a better look.

Wow! I'm impressed with how good that looks! The color looks like a perfect match to the original. The 1/4" thick matting at Tractor Supply is on 4 foot wide rolls for $5.99 a foot. We bought 4' which allows it to run a bit up the back seat. We figured that protects the seat back somewhat. We didn't cut around the wheel wells yet. They also sell 4' x 4' stall mats for $24 ($20 on sale) but they were really thick and we figured that the mat might not conform as easily. It's a cheap fix but protects the spare tire cover from damage. We've hauled a lot of hay and horse feed in our wagon!
