Title: How to safely remove window moldings
Post by: brirobyg on June 09, 2012, 10:12:30 AM
Hey everyone,

I looked through old threads and didn't see anything about window moldings. I was wondering how to safely remove early window moldings all around the car without damaging them.
The badges and side door moldings don't appear to be a big deal.

Thanks

Brian

I just pulled some of mine off.  Carefully pull it up so you can see the clip underneath of it.  Take a flat head screwdriver and just kind of push the clips toward the windows and it should come out.  My trim was on there pretty good with quite a few clips all spaced close together.  Just be patient and take your time.

They make a tool you  can buy at parts stores to slide under the trim & pop the clips. It makes it easy.
