carb interchange
« on: June 13, 2006, 02:01:17 PM »
I am having massive carb problems on my car &need to replace it.  Until I can afford to get a reman unit I want to just get a used one to throw on it to get the car running.

My question is are there any carbs I can put on my car from other vehicles. I got the 2.3 with the 5200 in it right now, but what I'm doing is just temporary until I get the cash for the replacement carb.

You can use a single barrel off of pre84 ranger 2.3's.   Model 2150 carb off of just about everything 60's 70's or early 80's ford.  the 2150 looks like a holley 2 barrel.
