Car & Driver Imsa Ford Pinto resurrected See April 2007 issue
(1/1)
Pintosopher:
I have found yet another article on the history of the IMSA Ford Pinto racing from the "70's. This current owner deserves a Medal for restoring this one. It's not the most Famous Imsa Pinto, but it's close. Worthy of a read by all , the article is titled "Checkered Past" and includes the C&D Mazda RX2 road racer also.
Enjoy,
Pintosopher

You beat me to it. I just got that issue in my mailbox yesterday. I am looking forward to reading the article. I remember that Pinto when I was a Kid. I am glad to see Don sherman brought it back to life.

Hi All,
I have followed the story on this car, and it very recently Sold for $ 20K thru Collins Classic cars. Yes, your racing pinto could be worth a bunch too!
Cheers,
Pintosopher
