WAS planning on replacing my sway bar links this week, so i picked some up at work. I take a look underneath and the bracket that it bolts to is broken.Does anyone know where to get the bracket?

Without a picture of what/where the bracket is broken, I would say have it welded and re-enforced. I just picked up an anti-sway bar bracket and mounting kit on E-Bay for my car. It was the first I have seen for many moons and paid dearly for it (even with a broken mounting stud-since repaired).

71'er. If your talking about the T shaped bolt/bracket on the lower control arm, the reason they break is because the thru bolt is to tight as designed. To fix it I just used a longer bolt, left it a little lose, and double nut it, and never broke another one ever, even with BIG front bars.

Thanks for the tip. I will do that to mine. It was also recommended to me to use a Heim joint upright to relieve the torque stress. My earlier comment was thinking that the bracket he was referring to was the one that connects to the frame rail hence the welding repair.

After I changed the bolt in mine, I never broke another T bolt in the 15 years I road raced my 72 Pinto. I think a heim would be over kill but it should never break.

Apples and oranges. Early vs late are waaaaayyyyyyyy different fruits. ;)
73 and earlier need new bolts. 74 and up are easily replaceable. :)

I had planned to use female heims myself & thread a bolt through the rubber isolators into the heim. Total cost should be under $10 to do both sides & a little never seize on the threads will ensure I never need to buy new ones.
