My 1973 Pinto belts were the two part detachable kind. They were too loose to be safe, and looking kind of shabby.

www.seatbeltso lutions.com) is the place to go. I wanted belts that looked close to original, but were safer. The sold me new retractors and hangers with the lap and shoulder belts united, like newer cars have.
The fabric color and weave, and the buckle, look absolutely like the originals!
These people fabricate for other vendors like Snake-Oyl, so the price is cheaper than anyone else I talked to. And they are made in Florida, not China!
