There is a warehouse in Oakville Ont. called Special Intrest Cars. This place has everthing! all new old stock (nos)for all Fords. When I ever go to a dealer looking for Pinto parts the parts department people laugh at me and half of them don't have microfilm that goes back 30 years. This place treats you like gold.I bought a rear bumper for $90.00 cdn. There must of had 30 brand new ones not to mention fenders.

Are they on line? If not, I wonder what it would take to scan and publish the catalog here?

I'll phone them on Monday. If they have a catalogue I'll mail it to you and you can scan it. I don't know how to scan anything.

Yea, I get that attitude all the time, everywhere..

Wow Henry...

Let me know if they have a catalog & I'll scan it like your mags you sent before.

I sent the Mags to you with your hats, let me know when you get them.

Just a quick update - I wrote these folks a few weeks back, and they did not respond. Then, I finally got a response from a gentlleman who claimed to be the GRANDSON of the owner of the place. We chatted a few times, he said his Grandfather has been digging around for stuff (I gave him a list), but the correspondence has been painfully slow. He did tell me of a few things that I had asked for.

Seems to me a good resource - if you are close, but they are operating out of the past.

Hi Folks:

I have heard good things about this place, however, I have called several times
and given them a list of items I was interested in and they NEVER call back even
when they say they are going to.  I am not saying they don't have good stuff I am just
saying I can never get them to tell me if they have the items.  Any suggestions,
other than driving to the place, would be very helpful.

Thanks,

If you take a truck, take lotsa cash, too. I asked about inner fenders, and was quoted $150/each. This stuff would add up fast.

Update - the owners grandson kept in touch a few times, communication was spotty, I asked lots of unanswered questions, and then the messages were dropped. This sounds like a really good resource with no real communication. It's going to take a box truck, cash and a road trip to succeed on this source.
