Oilpan Merc. Bobcat 2.3 litres
« on: February 22, 2016, 01:05:38 PM »
I'm searching for an oilpan for my 75 Merc. Bobcat Runabout.
There's no possibility to get one here from Germany.
Also all those Ebaysellers don't have one.
I'd be very happy, if one of you have an Solution.

Thank's for your replies.

Never seen an oil pan that couldn't be fixed with enough work and money. Repair what you have. Cost of a state side oil pan shipped to Germany would be higher than repairing the one you have. That's my solution.
Its better to be a has-been, than a never was.

Thanks for your reply. The German TÜV is very angry about Cars losing oil. So it would be the secure solution. But you're right. I'll take a hammer some heat and a lot of time, and i hope i can fix it antioilloosing

Where is yours leaking from?
Are you sure it isn't the gasket or seals? Drain plug?

Taking it off and having the damage fixed (welding) if it is damaged is probably the best way to fix it, I would think.
