Gutter Trim
« on: November 06, 2013, 02:25:44 AM »
I have been searching for replacement gutter trim for my 1980 sedan, and unfortunately no luck so far. I would prefer the metal ones from previous years, however I am not sure if they will fit the same. If you have a set of know anyone that I might be able to contact regarding them, then please let me know. Thanks!!

If this is what you are looking for I have located 9 of the LH but only one place shows '1' of the RH.
If you should want more info PM me.

In the diagram you posted it I can't tell if the 53700 is for the partial vinyl roof but I am looking for the trim that goes right below that arrow. Also is there any chance that the metal trim from previous years will fit on an 80? Thanks

53700 is the base # for the vinyl top material if so equipped.
Please check the text I have marked in green.
The one piece molding was used from 7/1/76 thru '80
Before 7/1/76 a two piece molding was used.
Since they didn't change the roof line, I would think either one would work if you had all the pieces.

Okay I see the markings now, and yeah that's exactly what I'm looking for! Is there any chance you might have these pieces or know anyone I could contact about getting them? Thanks.
