I just wanted to take the time to say hi to everybody. I just got this 75 from the mecum auction and was wondering  if there is a roundabout price it cost to restore her. any help will be great or just to talk about problems that I need to look for.

Hi Lawrence! Welcome to the Pinto Club!  ;D

I haven't had the privilege to see your "new" car, but from what I've been told at work and what has been said here, she must be a real beauty! Congratulation s!!! There are a lot of people here who are very good at restoring these great lil' ponies and I'm sure they would be more than happy to help with whatever advice or sometimes even parts you might need. I can more or less maintain my Pintos but I'm not real good when it comes to actual restoration! lol... well, there was that time when I washed my then-pinkish dusty '71 sedan and she came out the most vivid bright red... ::)

P.S. Please show some pictures!  ;D
One can never have too many Pintos!

I will have to take pics tomarrow. I was wondering if they where watching the mecum auto auction this weekend in kansas city. Thats the only way they would have seen her. I paid less than 2000 for her and has the original paper work and sales ticket and flyers. The engine looks original and odom. says 610 but I would say thats 100,610. The color is brown like a penny so my wife named her Penny The Pony LOL.

Cool you found the site ! I'm the one that posted the sale. I didn't watch it though. Just read it on another site, then posted the info here.
Look forward to seeing the pictures !
