If it is a manual 4 speed it is a screw in shifter with finger cutting tags on it, the gearbox is a ford type E , used in the early cortinas and capris, these were made in England and Germany, I think the late 60,s to early 70,s cortinas were an exact fit, (has the rubber damper in the middle)
Guess when you had them and worked on them, had every year ,and fixed them when I worked at the ford dealer in the 70,s , since they first can out, guess maybe ,
