Old post I know but FYI, one should still be able to find door pins and bushings as well as clutch pedal bushings that will work in the Dorman line, to my knowledge they are still made. They may not specifically list Ford on the part card, you have to be smarter than them to realize the part is the correct diameter(s) to work. Dorman often does not list all the applications their parts will fit and totally retarded for a business in their line to not do so. But they will do what they will do. I bet I've adapted a hundred parts from them to fit an app they were never intended for.

The clutch bushings can be spiral cut carefully to make a bigger one fit a smaller bore if necessary, they will work fine like that and forever.

The door pins if you find correct diameter can easily be cut shorter if needed.

I am running early Mustang clutch bushings in my 79 wagon with no problems.  They slid right in to replace the worn ones.  You can pick them up from any Mustang vendor.

I used to use them thar bushings on AMC clutch linkages as well. Thinking some of the door pins fit the cars as well. I don't care what car the part came off if it can be made to work.

I lucked out with a really good hardware chain here, I can find almost anything I need to rig a $200 part here or there for maybe $5-$10. They have a big supply of oddball metric that cannot be found elsewhere.

And boy do I abuse it............ ............I buy more stuff from the hardware store than I do auto parts by a factor of like ten. Yet it all goes on cars. You pay like 300% more at parts store and they never have the special bolt lengths you need like hardware does. Parts store bolt choices are a freakin' joke.

'scrap(no such thing)pile'

LOL........... ....a man after my own heart. Cutting up 1/4" plate aluminum right now to make a choke mounting plate for a carb, it came off the delivery table of some expensive machine, probably printing form delivery. Can't even remember other than saw the plate and instant 'raw materials' addition. It came from a Pitney-Bowes site cleanout behind our shop. I collected like 3 PCs there at the time from dumpster and sold them all as well. A dumped big Xerox provided enough toner to supply my crap Samsung printer forever. At $80 for a cartridge I made money there too.

I built a few race/ski boats and if there's 1" left over from a chunk it goes into a barrel, be surprised what you can make with a piece of 2"x2"x1/4"x1" long angle, I dig into that barrel all the time,lol.. :D

For the clutch pedal bushing, this might be an option. I don't know what the Pinto shaft size is, but if if is 5/8ths of an inch this would work. If not I'm sorry.
It does require welding, either diy or you can send the assembly in to Steve and he will do it.
