Can't find one? I may have a solution...  It's a pricy one but I'm not apologizing for that. As more folks utilize this path, the prices should come down. I wanted an exact replacement- I just did. I did find one NOS rotor for $200 but could not find another. So after calling many folks and shops, I was put in touch with Coleman Racing products who said they could reproduce them exactly. I sent them my only NOS rotor and they created a separate hub and rotor assembly where if I need a rotor in the future, I just replace the rotor part, not the hub and rotor. I will put all the details on how to get these if your interested. NOS rotor on right side.

Installing them I found that the dust shield bolts and lower caliper mount bolt interfered with the rotor to hub assembly bolts. (See Pic-Caliper bolt on top with 1 of the dust shield bolts below- note: dust shield removed) I had to replace the dust shield bolts with socket button head 3/8" 16 x1/2" bolts I ordered from Bolt Depot for $38. (See Pic) I had to grind them down slightly to clear (See Pic-NOS dust shield bolt on left). Since I could not use the star washers, I put Loctite on the bolts. Also had to grind down the lower caliper bolt- (See Pics).

Again, I'm not apologizing for the cost although once you replace your rotors with these, you only need to replace the rotor part if needed in the future. All bearings and races /parts remain NOS- off the shelf.

Thank you for the information and being so detailed.  I will definitely keep this as an option.  I'm just glad that there is an option out there.  Thanks again.  You're information was priceless.

I have not been able to find any (calipers) in a while. I purchased rebuild kits to keep me going. :)

FYI, Rock Auto is doing a closeout on a lot of early Pinto brake parts right now. No rotors of course, but friction parts, wheel seals, etc.

Wow, thermostat gaskets for THREE CENTS!

The new camshaft for $45 was an interesting find. A reground cam for my Corvair is $99 and a new one $259. We may gripe about the cost of early rotors for Pinto's but I'm finding the Corvair is not the inexpensive collector car it is often heralded as.

It seems like almost overnight (it is realistically is a few years) "parts cars" went from $200-$800 to $2,500-$4,000. Get what you can get..., while you can still get it.

Hi All,
Posted last year looking for rotors. Found this great resource thanks to Scott. This is just a historical supply chain update. Coleman can still make these, but I think I came along at the right time to ask and keep the dream alive.
As of 6/2021, I took delivery of these rotors and hubs from Coleman. It took a little convincing of the newer sales guy, but once I got him on the right page he dug up the drawings and they busted out the hubs and rotors with about an 8 week lead time. The ONLY N American outfit to make it happen, so greatful.

Scott, thanks for saving me time with your thorough documentation. The button head dust shield bolts were much easier seen ahead of time. Only had to install the hubs once! :)
Since putting the rotors on, I've run my 71 Runabout (only car I own) from SF-LA-Eureka, CA, and back to SF, with lots of daily driving in between. Coleman Racing, Scott H, and Pinto Car Club for the WIN!!!
:)
