Seat Belt
« on: March 16, 2013, 11:56:49 AM »
I have recently purchased a 1979 2.3L 4spd Pinto. It has been kept in pretty good nic, and the only part I really need is the driver side seat belt. The car does have one, but it's badly frayed and probably wouldn't help me worth a damn in an accident. I have  tried looking and haven't really found a belt or a suitable alternative. Any help in any way would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Bobby

Hi,

There is a company called Snake Oyl on the web that repairs factory belts.  The web address is: ssnake-oyl.com

SeatBeltSoluti ons.com is the BEST and LEAST EXPENSIVE! They are doing mine now.
1973 Pinto Runabout with upgraded 2.0 liter & 4 speed, and factory sunroof. My first car, now restored, and better than it was when it rolled off the assembly line!
