Brakes and hoses
« on: November 28, 2011, 05:58:52 PM »
I'm looking for rebuild kits and hoses for my 73. I have the original wagon calipers and Runabout  1.5  9" rear drums. Rock Auto has most everything and I was about to order till I noticed they were charging me almost $18. to ship one set of springs, $3.65. Noway!!! Shipping total was over $40. for a $85. purchase. There's gotta be a better way.
Thanks Stu

try your local auto parts stores... I have never had to "internet" order brake parts before and that is one of the 1st things my cars get when I buy them, complete brake rebuilds needed or not. I have my best luck at O'Reilly's for the hard to find parts. Worth a try to see what the locals can find for ya. They hardly ever have in stock but can usually find and get thru their sources.
