I have a door off my 80 hatchback.  The door has no rust and factory paint.  It is darn near perfect.  The door is a shell, no glass or door hardware.  I am located in Portland Oregon.  Let me know if you are intersted and I will get you some pictures.

Thank you Tigger but I have a 1980 door on it now and theres just enough difference in bodies that it doesn't quite fit right.Thanks anyway.

Will a 75 hatchback door fit?  It looks like I will be having one available shortly.  It will be complete [glass, mechanisms,door panel, etc EXCEPT hinges] so if it will fit and you can use it let me know.  I am just west of chicago.

PS: Acutally I will have both doors available and I was told this is an Arizonia car.

I agree.

I have never had any issues as long as I used the correct door pulls and hinges.

The quality those years (or lack of it) might have something to do with it...

You may want to check to see if the 80 door your car now has on it was not from a wagon.  There IS a difference between the wagons and the slantbacks.

To verify an Arizona car, to be a TRUE Arizona car, it should have a DSO code of '75'.  All Ford vehicles, from at least the 60s through the early 80s, that were shipped to the Phoenix distribution point, were assigned a DSO of '75'.  Now this is excluding any special optioned vehicles that were issued a code longer than two digits.

This is not to say that other DSOs were not good, just that it is not a true "original Arizona" car.  I grew up in Tucson, AZ, and I love old Fords, so I've always made sure to know what I had as a baseline.

Oh, and let me tell you what a shock it was to go in the Navy and see the rusty cars in Illinois!  I had never seen a 'rusted out' car in person until then.

The Pinto I had I gave to my brother. The car was originally my mom's, (78 red Pinto sedan with a 2.3 and a 4spd.) I am originally from Tucson, AZ but moved to Oxnard CA :D
I'm looking for a Pinto wagon with an automatic.

It's from a hatchback as I pulled it myself.The hinges are slightly different(could only line up one hole on the bottom one)and the top leading edge of the door doesn't quite line up with the '77 front fender right plus there's a body line in it that my '77 doesn't have.

I have a door from a 76 bobcat it has one small dent or large ding origanal paint no rust complete $45.00 plus shipping.
