Ford 2 bbl Carb on Offenhauser Manifold

I have an Offenhauser 4 barrel manifold to go on my 2300 engine, but I have a conversion to install a Motorcraft (Ford) 2 barrel carburator on this manifold.  Am I going to have a problem with hood clearence using the stock hood? If so how can I remedy this problem without cutting into the hood?  Also what do I need for linkage, and where would I buy such linkage?  Wes Jones, Cle Elum, WA  e-mail: lesterwa58@yahoo.com
