1970-1973 Pinto 1.6 Transmission PARTS
« on: April 11, 2019, 12:26:40 PM »
So due to my lack of thorpugh research and understanding of my car, I managed to discover that the FoB (Ford of Britain) transmission in 1.6l cars is the Ford type 3 and NOT the type E like I had previously thought.

The type 3 has 20 input splines and 20 output, and replacement gaskets, seals and synchros can be found at Burton Power (UK, shipping to US available). Parts are in British Pound so some conversion will be needed.

Hope I helped someone
