Pinto Rallye rear spoiler
« on: April 01, 2010, 12:25:41 PM »
I just got my hands on one. I know a couple people are popping out fiberglass parts. Is there anyone who needs one to make a mold from before I modify this one to fit a steel hatch?

If it looks like too much work to modify it- I would be interested in buying it      Mak

Modification is simple. I just need to remove the trunk lock section & 1/4" along the front to attach it to the hatch. I was hoping somebody would want to make molds from it first.

I have having it remade now. It will be made with the leading edge of the lip that mates with the body notched back a half inch so that It fits on all pinto coupes, regardless of style. It is at the fiberglass shop and will be done on 3 months. They will weigh nothing and be incredibly durable. They will be expensive but like everything I make, perfect. I will only make 6 and the price will be around $200. This may change depending on cost and time which will be high.
I have many Pintos, I like them....

Sorry about the delay here. My friend took over the project since I moved away and has resumed the work. I am going to look at the prototype in December.
