Manchester CT car show
« on: August 04, 2005, 07:55:09 PM »
Just wanted to post here about the big car show in Manchester this sunday from 1 to 5. They close down Rt 83 between hartford road and center street for this event. I plan on bringing a pinto or two. They have parking for over 1000 cars, and turn some away every year.

Hope to bump into some of us there.

Hi Bill,
Would love to come but I've got "Boneyard Duty" this weekend. Am working on an F-150 cab on a F=350 chassis project at a private yard in Westerly R.I., that has provided me with many parts.  :-\     This in addition to my other Pony project.
I have two buddies who between them have 5 Pintos. I think that they will come.

I did make it to the show. They stated that no early-birds allowed, but when I got there 30 min. early, I was the second to last one they let in at that gate. I looked and did not find any other Pintos, but I did find one Mustang II owned by the owner of the .org site.

 BTW: There was one Edsel.

My parents had an Edsel station wagon when I was a kid.
Thet always bring back fond memories when I see them.
