Classics and Chrome Car Show
« on: March 25, 2014, 09:20:00 PM »
My Pinto and I have been invited to the Classics and Chrome Car Show in Machesney Park Il on April 12-13. After spending the last four weeks moving into a new home, it will be nice to talk Pinto for an entire weekend!

I had a GREAT time last weekend at the show. It was a stormy weekend , but it was warm and dry inside. A great varity of cars were there. They had over 12,000 spectators pass thru. I did not win the top prize in my class, but got a runnerup.

Dianne, I was in the Special Interest class. First place was a 59 Chevy pickup, really nice stock appearance with modern drivetrain. They have a number of runnerups in each class but did not say how they placed. As they announced the runnerups they said" in no particular order", they handed out the awards. It was participant vote.
