just got an email from Ford asking me to register back to the ford employee car show in dearborn did anyone else get one? ??? ?

Hello, my friend Fuzzy has a pinto and wants to join a local club. we live in the Contra Costa county area. Fuzzy does not have an email address or a computer. So I am his liaison, by the way your web site needs much work, its difficult to see. Fuzzy does work on many vintage cars, such as 34 ford coup, 27 model T touring, 50 Olds and much more. I will put a picture of the pinto on my facebook.

I also go one, have been working on making all arrangements to get from swfl to dearborn - 1500 miles one way! what a trip this is going to be. After talking to the show rep. I am excited just to see all the other Factory built weird cars. Hope to see some of you guys there with your cars - from what I understand there will be a lot of Lincoln mercury models - being the theme is Lincoln Mercury this year!!

If anyone sent a request to show and have not got a response back send a pm to me with your info and I will contact the organiser of the show at Ford and find out your status. I talked with him yesterday at the EyesOn Design Car show in Detroit yesterday.and he is overwhelmed with this year's show.

My 1976 Runabout has been accepted for the 2015 Ford PDC show. I received my confirmation letter.

brian! you got that right! the days are flying bye and trying to shine up the old girl the best i can - plus getting ready for a baby to be born here at the end of the month so its been a BUSY house hold - plus have a 2 day drive to get there!! but its all going to be worth it!!

I currently have reservations at the hotel that dave gave me info for(Adoba Dearborn). its pricey but figured it was super close and make life easier to get from point a to b. but any info to save some cash is good for me- my only BIG concern is finding parking for my f550 rollback that is SAFE and Secure.

im staying where we stayed last year its about 8 min from the show. my car is in a trailer and im around 65 feet long had room last year with no problem.i think my suite was 134$. and i booked it online

Last year's hotel was nice and very close plenty of room for your rig

bbobcat75 congrats on being in the feature row!! I was in it in 2012, quite an honor! I would not worry about security at the hotel. Remember you will be in Dearborn NOT Detroit!

The Adoba Hotel is no more. The facility has once again been sold and renamed the Royal Dearborn Hotel and Convention Center. Reviews are not great. The rooms at the Comfort Inn are probably nicer. This hotel was an old Hyatt property that needed a ton of work before they sold it.
I won't call the area unsafe, but you also shouldn't get a false sense of security just because the hotel is in Dearborn (and not Detroit). I know several of the officers on the force there. They have their fair share of issues in that area.
If I had to stay in the area, I'd stay at the Comfort Inn, The Henry (if you have big $$$), or perhaps the Hampton Inn in Southgate (which is brand new and about 15 minutes away). I have no idea what parking is like at the Hampton Inn. I'd avoid the Dearborn Best Western and Doubletree.
If you have real concerns about parking your rig, see if Dave Glickman can recommend somewhere to park overnight on Ford property (like some place by the dyno lab).
