Delaware Car Shows
« on: June 18, 2013, 10:06:30 AM »
Hello all, even here in little ole DE we do have car shows!  This Sunday at Best Buy in Dover from 11-3 there is a free car show, although donations are encouraged as the show is to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project - an organization I know this site has worked with before.  Trophies will be awarded.  Also in the local area Medding and Sons restaurant right off Route 1 has a cruise in every Tuesday night during summer months.  June 28th-30th is a huge car show at the Harrington State Fairgrounds put on by the Southern Delaware Street Rod Association.  I'll definitely have my car at the Show in Dover, but probably not at Harrington.  I'm going to start disassembly of it so I can paint it.

Waldo,
Thanks for sharing, I wish I could get there this weekend.   Let us know how things went and hopefully some from here will meet up.

That show went ok, it was a small one.  It's the only one I took my car to.  Right now it's partially disassembled for paint and will probably be that way for a bit more of the summer.  The big show here is the one in Harrington - there was only 1 pinto wagon there.  Ironically enough it was from PA, it was an earlier one '72 or '73 if I recall correctly.  There's also big shows down in Ocean City I'd like to take my car to at some point
