2007 Tulsa, OK Starbird Car Show

Well guys, they did it again!

Lemmie tell 'ya, anybody that tells you Pinto's can't get the attention of the younger crowd just don't know what they are talking about!

This years 43rd Annual Darryl Starbird Rod and Custom Car Show in Tulsa was a blast. This year I took 2 cars, Geraldine and Jade.

Get this, to allow me to purchase Jade last fall, my wife said she would take Geraldine and pamper her and show her. Well, in a class of 25 cars, they awarded top 5......and Geraldine won again! My wife slammed me! But that's OK, it was a fun show.

Would have been nice to meet you as well. I saw our post for the show in June, hope you can make it. That show is outside on Sunday. What are you doing to the green car you bought in KS? We need to get together and kick a few tires soon. I believe Frank in Norman somehow got ahold of a fellow in Morris who bought a blue '72 from a long time enthusiast, Gerard, in CA last fall. We might accidentally get 6 or 8 cars together this summer. I know I can bring three of them! LOL

So far tackling the drivers side floor board rust and trying to source a few parts that I would like to replace or that is missing. I have redone the bad door hinges. I have to source and replace the windshield. Moving along slowly but surely...
