Hey guys, I made this 2.0 to 2.3 turbo parts swap sheet with prices. If it says "jy" than thats the actual junk yard price with core charge, and if it says "forum" than thats high price on a forum, that I would be willing to pay. Hope this helps someone......

Use the stock starter solenoid
You can still use the stock pinto trans mount with TC or mustang two bolt mount. All you need to do is elongate the holes
Additional things you need to do
You will need to beat in the passenger side firewall to make room for turbo
You will need to remove stock heater box with protruding fan unit and go with the flush heater unit
You will need to vent the tank
You will need to cut off 2.0 engine mounts
You will have to cut shifter hole 2.5”-3” forward
You will need to mount VAM

I posted my trial and error. My car is a 72 pinto. I flew to Seatle and drove it back to Los Angeles California. At the time it had a 2.0, but I had already laid out a plan for the swap using all the turbo 2.3 parts I had collected form my Tbird turbo coupes and SVO's. I just got tired of all the smog rules, so I devised a plan to take a drive train and MAKE IT HAPPEN! I wanted a car that I didnt mind beating on or cutting up. A car that in the end would be something cool without hearing the purist talk of desecration.

Anyway if you go on the pinto FB page you will see my running "Pinturbo". I'm Not some kid making bogus talk about what he is dreaming of, but rather some older cat who laid out a plan and followed through.

This is not an expensive install if you now the right people, lay out a complete plan, and search CL and junk yards for a good deal. I did it, and I love it.
