whats the difference from the ecu on auto car to a stick is it just a bye pass for the nuetral safety switch this motor is a 86.

The tune for an auto trans. was milder & produced less boost because the trans. was weak & couldn't take a pounding.

not quite correct,,, 87-88 were detuned due to the weak a4ld, 83 to 86 all came with 155hp, autos used a c3 trans. the 87-88 5speeds came with 190hp.... and a innercooler, autos had 155hp
75 turbo pinto trunk, megasquirt2, 133lb injectors, bv head, precision 6265 turbo, 3" exhaust,bobs log, 8.8, t5,, subframe connectors, 65 mm tb, frontmount ic, traction bars, 255 lph walbro,
73 turbo pinto panel wagon, ms1, 85 lb inj, fmic, holset hy35, 3" exhaust, msd, bov,
