Title: Fact or fiction?
Post by: Ironman on July 11, 2008, 01:56:18 AM
I have been told the coupe is lighter than the runabout.
It makes sense to me. I would think the runabout would need a beefier constuction to maintain rigidity with the large open space. In adition I would think the folding rear seat and larger galass might add a few pounds as well.

If there is a difference in wieght,.. what is it?
I've been given a range of 37 lbs all the way up to nearly 200 lbs,.. (which I highly doubt)

Whats the real deal?

Interesting link.

I followed a few links inside that site and found this one VERY interesting:

Some of the 'facts' it claims are quite misleading (concerning the Pangra)

Yes, some of the facts are off the mark.

If you click the link to the 77 Pinto, it shows a 78.
