Getting an "immersion edication" here :read:. Having found my floor pan rust, heard the comments, visiting the web many, many times (good grief, how many posts have I had this week alone)?, watching "English wheel" videos, lining up a guy with a welder, and checking out bead rollers at Harbor Freight, I have to ask a fundamental, basic question:
What GAUGE sheet metal is recommended for floor pan repair? This is going to be welded, of course.
Thanks!
Chris
CHRIS GET A HOLD OF TIGGER, HE ALREADY HAS PAN'S CUT OUT. AND HEY WERE IS COOKIEBOY WHEN I NEED HIM. ??? FRED :)
i tell you what I'm goin to do for mine. Take an old van and use it for my pans. Just cut them with a zaw-saw. Form them to the shape i need with a block of wood the clean it up and weld it in. Poor mans way of doing things!
Don't blame you, I will probably end up doing the same thing.
Chris
