Title: need electrical help please

Where is the best place to connect my lighting for my new gauges ????  Do i take it off the headlight switch and if so which wire? :lost:
I have a 75 runabout 4 spd a/c.

Jim, I connected my radio to the light that goes to the heater controls.  It may work for your gauges as well.

You could grab the radio light wire. IIRC:It is light blue with a red line.

just to let you know that I grabed the blue wire/ red stripe for the dash gauge lights.
