Hey Dave, I've had the headliners out of a couple car, never a wagon, but measuring from side to side and knowing where the supports are I find 22" to be a little short... I would "guess" you could go to a 26"-28" but if you are considering front to back.... that could be where the 22" comes into play...

I have seen a couple cars w/sunroofs in pictures only and do however suspect that they are closer to the 22" mark from factory.

anyone have a sunroof installed in their car? measurements and pictures would help.

My 79 HB parts car has a factory popup one.  I will see if I can remember to take some pictures and measurements of that one as well.

My 77 Bobcat HB has a factory sunroof. While I've had no luck posting pictures, I can easily get you measurements. What exactly do you require?

There are almost certainly smaller sunroofs out there. I put dual sunroofs in my old Cruising Wagon years ago. If such a thing still exists, look into a custom van shop, or even an RV supply story, because they usually sell things of that nature anyway. Not to mention the good people of Ziebart. I'll get the measurements on my sunroof for you tonight and post them later on this evening. Gotta get to work!
