Is O'Reilly Auto Parts going through a spat of way off-spec auxiliary shaft bearings for the 2.3? I've picked up my third set that doesn't work! All sets were mic'ed and no two were close.
This sets back my turbo Pinto project yet another week! Plus I'm running a 70 mile round trip tomorrow to a machinist to try and figure this out! >:(
hmm, :wow:
That is odd. If you want, you can give me the specs on it, I can go to some of my local auto parts places, (with digital mic in hand), and if they are correct send them your way.
I did get a refund from O'Reilly on the bum bearings. The guy there is supposedly contacting higher ups about this. I'm going to try the ones from NAPA next.
Could certainly live without the running around and frustration over what's supposed to be a simple job. This is really pushing this project out a lot farther than I really like Pintos.
napa the rocks they all ways come though
