When shifting gears 1, 2, and 3, I notice a loud click sound every time I shift into them. I'm thinking the synchros are out like someone on here had mentioned, but I cannot find anyone who carries a rebuild kit for this little 4 spd!
Are there any other fords that used the same 4 spd gear box as the pinto that I could swap? There is a 4 spd from the Mustang II I've been getting parts from at the scrap yard, but they want $150 for the transmission and I don't want to sink that much into it at this time.
I have a 4 sp tranny boxed and ready to go $40.00 + shipping
