Title: rear window leaks- how do i fix it properly.
Post by: crossy on May 14, 2008, 11:06:01 AM
gets my trunk floor wet and then under the seat. I can see it SLIGHTLY streaming inside the rear corners of  back glass. I know i could probably sqeeze some sort of sealer in under the rubber, but it prolly leaks in between the rubber and the window channel steel???
I can't even figure out how this ford molding inserts into the rubber if i wanted to get it out? I searched FAQS and i know this has to be an issue with many sedans .
thanx ,crossy

Crossy the way I did the repair to my daughter's car was I got inside and had her go after it with garden hose to nail leak down. I would lift rubber seal were needed and add silicone.  Fred   :)
