Title: proportional valve
Post by: c0rn_d0g on July 16, 2004, 04:08:17 PM
I need to know where all the lines hook up to the proportional valve on   a 71 pinto, all drum brakes... A picture or explanation or something would be great. I'm making new brake lines but i cant do it without knowing where to bend them. Thanks.

Ok, as you look at it mounted on the fenderwell. you will see 2 lines toward the fire wall, one on top and 2 lines facing the front with a plug in between. The TOP line goes to the passenger front wheel. the top rear facing line goes to the Big end of the master cylinder. The bottom rear line goes to the rear wheels. The Top front facing line goes to the Small end of the master cylinder and the bottom front goes to the drivers side wheel. Of course the plug will just plug............
hope this helps. BTW if you want to put a ( real ) proportining valve in you will put it in line at the rear break line.
