Im sure every now and then a key question should arise. Any advice if I need a spare made? Should I go to Ford? Or any place?
I got a copy made of each at Canadian Tire. They seem to work just fine. They will generally have "Ford" keys at any place that does them.
Oh oh! and I have a red light that turns on over the speedometer right between 40 and 50. Anyone know what It means? Im just starting out on my Pinto adventures :)
So if anyone wouldnt mind I will take all the advice I can get :)
Swt thanks ponygal
the red light is the indicator that your brights are on. just push in the foot button by the drivers side kick panel with your left foot. :)

I would like to add to what she said. The keys will be a Ford style, but not have Ford on them. If you wanted to have original style Ford keys there are auctions on ebay for them all the time. Most places should be able to cut them for the same price as cutting their own keys.
Anytime Lock & Key, here locally, will duplicate old style Ford keys and they have the blanks in stock with the Ford logo and saying on the opposite side.
