Title: Engine Question
Post by: jeremylundgren on April 28, 2008, 06:10:07 PM
Howdy folks,

I've got an old 1974 with a 2.0L. I'm contemplating purchasing a remanufactured 2.3 Long Block. What kind of problems would I encounter swapping the two. Any help would be appreciated.

You will need  NEW motor mounts and a set of stepped dowls from Bill.
Just rebuild the 2.0 and save yourself a bunch of hassel.
How much is the remanufactured 2.3 Long Block.
I could do the work for you if you are near St louis.
