Title: hood scoops
Post by: wedge446 on April 25, 2008, 06:34:44 PM
Hi,
I`m looking for a hood scoop to install on the wagon but don`t know what one looks best.
I`m leaning for the tear drop scoop or cowl scoop.
Anyone got a pic of one with a tear drop mounted?

Street scoop.Really messes with people when you put it on a 4.

Depending on space, you could go with a shaker.  But it is tight.

rear ended.
This is exactly what I have been looking for and want from my 80!  :amazed:.  Please, please, please send me any info, pics, part descriptions, etc that it took to make the shaker happen.
Thanks!

Thanks all for the input..
I really don`t want to use a cowl, just about every mustang, nova and camero I see has them on there.
I kinda want to keep it old school thats why I was thinking of the tear drop scoop..
I really like that shaker!  It looks sweet!
It might be more work they I want to put into it.. (I`m installing a tilt dog house) Same for the street scoop.

gearhead,

I sent you a reply, send me an e-mail and in the next few weeks I will give you the breakdown on the shaker.  I worked all the bugs out of it.
Thanks for the compliments guys, they are much appreciated.
