hi i have a little problem with my mercury bobcat 1978 4 cyl 2.3L i rebuilt the engine and now i have to replace the timing belt and my problem is the timing belt tensioner anybody can tell me how to do please???

Do you have the tensioner installed and just cant get the belt on?
