I think it's around 1/2" or so. One thing you want to do after drilling the hole is make sure you apply some primer then paint the bare metal so it doesn't rust.

Use the correct 'riv-nuts' on the right side door, don't just screw into the door skin. If you can, tack-weld them too.

I know what I was planning on doing was using a couple locking nuts on the backside for the passenger side. The driver side already has the fittings. Then again I didn't know you could get those type of fittings anywhere.

The only spare one I have is for a wagon; is that what you need?

BTW: M-U part number for the kit is "AMK802" and sells for $5.95 in the current catalog.

I finally had the chance to take a good look at it, and it will need some work. It has some minor scratches all over it, and in the very front it has some deep ones. It might be ok with some work. I will only ask for shipping and a little handling for it. I will try to grab some photos if you are still intrested.

There is also one small ding neat the front that can bee seen in the photo.

Like I said, it is not perfect; it is still better than one you don't have.

Unless you are in a UPS 'rural' area I can't imagine the shipping to be more than 15-18 bucks, and the total should be like 25 or less. I still need to figure how to box it up well, but I won't do that until after you tell me if you want it; I don't have a lot of time.
