I have a 73 runabout w/ a/c (yes a/c and it blows cold too), the car idles great when the a/c is off but when its on it wants to die...help anyone? is it something i can fix or does it need to be done by a professional.
There should be an electric solenoid on the carb that has a plunger that kicks out to raise the idle when you switch the a/c on. It is powered by the same circuit that energizes the a/c field coil.
