Title: Installing a temp and oil gauge (where do they go?)
Post by: pinto4sho on April 10, 2008, 02:49:59 AM
I own a 73 runabout with a 2.0 motor and it doesnt have a temp or oil gauge. I wanted to know where i would go about installing a temperature gauge and oil gauge?  Where do they connect onto the motor?

Goes in the same place as the factory sender. The kit will have different size brass fittings, just take out the stock sender and use the matching fitting from the kit. Make sure to use teflon tape on the threads.

 :welcome: pinto4sho,

The oil sending unit is near the back of the block on the drivers side. Under the intake manifold.

The temp sending unit is near the back of the block on the pass. side. Under the exhaust manifold.
